Electric delivery vehicles are getting even better with new advances by companies like Bosch and Tropos Motors

Silicon Valley-based manufacturer Tropos Motors has released a new ABLE XR truck chassis. Powered by two new 13 kWh lithium-ion batteries, the ABLE XR can travel up to 160 miles on a single charge.

The ABLE XR and standard chassis accommodates a variety of bed packages, including a sweeper package, and can tow up to 2000 pounds on public roads, or 3000 pounds on closed campuses. It also has enough power for air conditioning systems, AM FM Bluetooth USB Stereo, lights, and Back-Up Camera.

The ABLE XR has a very short turning radius and the ability to swap bed packages in minutes. It also includes a load sensing brake proportioning system, hill-hold, reinforced doors, full-length steel chassis, and a driver side airbag.

The Tropos ABLE XR is slated for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2018.
